Secrets:  This piece was carved during the busy spring nesting time and was inspired by our rather cumbersome but beautiful cat Wilma and how she would probably go about trying to catch a bird! The cat has it's head stuck inside the nesting box trying to be invisible waiting for the birds. On the rear side you will find the birds with barely a feather missing, spying on the cat. There are plenty of secrets to discover in this piece. Novak Djokovic and Matteo Barrettini met in the Wimbledon final; Olympic gold medallists are mentioned as the Olympics was underway as I carved and Tokyo as the venue. 1538 is my bike lock combination and Fred and Wilma are our cats.
