Secrets: This challenging, and beautifully executed piece portrays a sight familiar to Texans: An armadillo, resting stop a hollowed-out log. Inside the log, its young one crouches, peering out from safety. When carving this piece, Peter found this quip: “If you want to make a proper Texan chili, first find yourself an armadillo.” We think even the staunchest Texan might pass on that one. Look for Peter’s mouse atop the baby armadillo. |
