DAVID LAWRENCE, Artist, sculptor & cider drinker. Creator of many Harmony Kingdom collectibles, as well as his own lines: 'From The Greenwood', 'The Children of Arcadia', 'Catkin Tales' and 'DL Collectibles'. David Lawrence creates his pieces in his studio in a small village in Somerset, in the South West of England. The castings are hand made and finished not many miles away (along the road that leads to the cider farm).

In England DL is best known for his Greenwood range of wall plaques, widely sold throughout the land in Castles & Palaces.  In the US it's different: it's the curio cabinet that dominates - collectors like  pieces to be freestanding and altogether rather more 'precious'. It was DL's Harmony Kingdom carvings which first brought his work to the US & it's along these lines that US collectors seem to want him to go! It's taken a while for this logic to sink into DL's psyche - but we think he's finally got the message!
